I have a ?. Thus this post.

I have been having an issue with my laptop lately that I cannot figure out. After using it for a while, my display starts to mess up. Its like part of the start menu bar disappears and you cant click anything. And shortly after that the windows I have open stop responding, then when I hit the close button or to get the task manager up, nothing happens or everything starts getting put in weird places on my monitor. Any idea on what could cause this? I ran a virus check and ran malwarebytes and nothing came up. :wtf:

Is it getting hot?

Could be a case of Windows corruption. Probably wouldn't hurt to backup your personal data and reinstall Windows to see if the problem still persists.

Once I get a job, I plan on upgrading to a larger screen laptop with more space. Currently, my netbook is 10 inch or so, the new one I'll be getting will be 17.3 inch. Space wise, I'll go from the current 250gb to 750+. I will also get a portable usb drive to move everything to it just in case.

sounds like win-rot or a virus; any errors logged?

How do I check for errors. Both my antivirus and malwarebytes come back clean.

You didn't specify which version of the windows virus you're dealing with (eXtraProblems or winders 7) so the above link is my best guess ; sorry, I guess it's not hard to tell I'm not Bill Gates biggest fan....

I think my next laptop should be a mac of some sort. Windows has too many STD's..

Or you could just learn how to not be a fuckup and use Windows like a normal human and not have any problems. :thinker:
